Job summary

HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in affiliation with Select Medical is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC preferred) at our Scottsdale, AZ location. This full-time role offers a starting annual salary of $87,360 based on experience.

You will evaluate patients, develop and modify therapy plans, and educate patients and families while working within a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist is required.
• CCC or completion within 90 days preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plans.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of therapy services for assigned patients.
• Designs functional treatment programs to facilitate return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, co-workers and self.
• Performs other professional duties related to care of the patient and program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline‑specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
• Coordinatetreatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred
