Job description

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) that is available for the 2024 / 2025 school year.

Requirements :

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
• Speech-Language Pathologist Licensure in the state of California
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
• Experience in a school and / or pediatric setting preferred.

Job Description :

• Caseload and details of position / classroom type will differ based on school location

Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset

• Contract through the 2024 / 2025 school year – 35 to 40 hours per week
• Contract follows the academic district calendar

Position Overview : Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions :

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
• Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

Salary :

• 65-$85 / hr.
• Total on 40 hours : $2,600-$3,400 paid WEEKLY
