Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents in senior living communities, delivering care with evidence-based techniques and in a collaborative team setting.

The role emphasizes a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements, plus comprehensive benefits, licensure reimbursement, CEUs, and career advancement opportunities within a not-for-profit organization.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments.
  • Establish treatment goals and develop Speech Pathology treatment programs based on full clinical evaluation.
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
  • Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, functional-based treatment sessions.
