Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents in senior living communities. You will establish treatment goals, develop evidence-based programs, and provide one-on-one private sessions to advance functional outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in speech-language pathology

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments with evidence-based techniques
  • Establish treatment goals and develop/provide treatment programs based on clinical evaluation
  • Provide rehabilitative services as part of a coordinated team under medical orders
  • Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plan of care for patients
  • Treat residents one-on-one with individualized attention and functional-based approaches

  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
  • Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach

Position requirements:
  • Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
Pay Range

USD $37.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.
