Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year in Illinois. You will evaluate and diagnose speech disorders, develop IEPs, and provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings.

You will collaborate with educators and families, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings. IL license or eligibility is required; CCC-SLP is preferred and CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active IL SLP license or eligibility before start date is required.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and therapy documentation is expected.

• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in the state of IL (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
• Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays
