Job summary

EDU Healthcare in Berwyn, IL is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based services to students. The SLP will collaborate with educators, families, and the IEP team to support communication and academic success.

Responsibilities include evaluating speech and language disorders, developing IEPs, and delivering direct therapy in individual and group settings. Strong collaboration and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active IL licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome to apply.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.
• Strong collaboration and communication with teachers and families.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in the state of IL (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
• Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays
