Job summary

Benedictine Living Community of Rochester is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, with flexible hours and no mandated group therapy requirements. You will join our in-house therapy team and collaborate with care staff to implement individualized plans of care and discharge planning.

Job description

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible and accountable for residents’ evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning and implementation of therapy interventions.

Develops and revises plan of care based on the residents’ needs and establishes functional goals, outcomes, and discharge plans. Plans for residents’ discharge and anticipates for long term and/or short term residents’ needs. Educates other health care team members, residents, family, and caregivers on information regarding the care plan for the residents.

Qualifications Required

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, in good standing.
• Master’s degree.
