Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PreK FMLA Coverage

We are seeking a full-time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide FMLA coverage at a specialized learning center in Quincy, MA. This short‑term opportunity will span the fall of the 2026–2027 school year and will support preschool‑aged students in both integrated and specialized educational settings.
- Start Date: September 3, 2026 (First Day of School)
- End Date: November 25, 2026
- Schedule: 7:35 AM – 1:50 PM
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week
- Employment Type: Full‑time, Temporary FMLA Coverage
- Work Setting: Onsite
- Office Space: Provided
Caseload & Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language services to PreK students.
- Support both integrated and substantially separate special education classrooms.
- Deliver direct therapy services and support IEP goals.
- Complete evaluations, documentation, and progress reporting.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Support students with a variety of communication and developmental needs.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) systems.
- Strong behavior management and classroom collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting students in specialized early childhood settings.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts Speech‑Language Pathology licensure required.
- DESE licensure preferred, but not required.
Compensation
$50.00 – $60.00 per hour (based on experience)
