Job summary

Kadima Health and Nursing at Pottstown is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The role focuses on evaluating and treating residents in a SNF/long-term care setting, with emphasis on restoring function and promoting healing.

The ideal candidate will hold a PA SLP license in good standing, have experience in long-term care, and be comfortable using Net Health EHR. The position requires adherence to care plans and strong communication with families and care teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PA SLP license in good standing.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current SLP treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health EHR preferred.
• Ability to manage residents with varying personalities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents to relieve pain and restore function.
• Ensure all treatment follows established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses and modify treatments as needed.
• Complete documentation per company policy and state/federal regulations.

Kadima Health and Nursing at Pottstown is looking to hire a Part Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team!

The Speech Language Pathologist is expected to follow facility core values in administering department services and helping to fulfill all therapy-related resident care needs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Assured all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitors patient responses to treatments and makes modifications during treatment sessions as necessary
• Completes documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Skills:

• SNF/Long term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities

Required licensure:

• Current License as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of PA. Must be in good standing.
