Job summary

Eleutheria is seeking a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist to deliver school-based services in Port St. Lucie, FL for K-12 students. You will assess, plan, and provide direct therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers and families.

The role emphasizes implementing dynamic assessments, developing treatment plans with an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining thorough documentation. Licensure in the state and TB clearance are required; clinical fellows encouraged.

Qualifications

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain).
  • TB clearance required.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

About the Role: Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. What We’re Looking For:

Must Have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

  • One year of experience in speech therapy (clinical fellows welcome)
  • Department of Education certification
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
  • Experience with school-based caseload management
