Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in Outpatient Rehab to provide medically prescribed services and treatment to restore function and maximize independence. The role includes assessments and treatment activities for both inpatients and outpatients, with emphasis on post-acute rehabilitation.

Eligible candidates will have a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure, and CPR certification; CCC from ASHA is preferred.

Position Summary: The Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Outpatient Rehab

Provides medically prescribed services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, minimize disability following disease, or injury, and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability.

The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.

Requires normal courtesy and tact in dealing with others.

Education:

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required

Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.

Current CPR certification.

Work Experience:

Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship

One year experience in Speech Language Pathology in a Post-Acute rehab setting is required

Salary Range:

Minimum $34.62/hour - Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
