Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a Speech Language Pathologist focused on Outpatient Rehabilitation. You will provide assessments and therapeutic activities for inpatients and outpatients to optimize function and independence after disease or injury.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and CF completion, with CCC preferred and CPR current. Experience in post-acute rehab is expected, with a strong commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current State licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship.
• One year experience in Speech Language Pathology in a Post-Acute rehab setting required.

Position Summary: The Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Outpatient Rehab

Provides medically prescribed services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, minimize disability following disease, or injury, and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability.

The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.

Requires normal courtesy and tact in dealing with others.

Education:

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required

Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.

Current CPR certification.

Work Experience:

Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship

One year experience in Speech Language Pathology in a Post-Acute rehab setting is required

Salary Range:

Minimum $34.62/hour - Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
