Job summary
Boothby Therapy Services is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based role in Maine. The position is 3 days per week with hourly pay of $50–$60 and eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.
The role involves working with students in South Paris, ME for the 2026–2027 school year. You will provide assessments, develop IEP goals, deliver direct therapy, and collaborate with OTs, PTs, educators, and district teams.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- CCC-SLP or CF-SLP eligibility is required or preferred.
- Active Maine SLP license or eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy to students in school.
- Conduct evaluations and develop IEP goals and therapy plans.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions individually and in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers.
- Maintain progress monitoring and compliant documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.

Your compensation shouldn't depend on factors outside your control.
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, depending on assignment, location, and experience.

- Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
- Support students with:
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Receptive and expressive language disorders
- Social/pragmatic communication
- Fluency disorders
- Voice disorders
- AAC and assistive communication needs
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)
- Active Maine SLP License or eligibility
- School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
