Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a compassionate Speech Pathologist to deliver specialized speech-language and swallowing services in our inpatient rehab setting. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and dysphagia disorders, developing care plans.

You will collaborate with a rehab team, educate families, and document outcomes, contributing to quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (state-specific) preferred.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or similar setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose communication, cognitive-linguistic, and dysphagia disorders.
• Develop evidence-based, individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab team to support recovery.
• Educate families and caregivers on plan of care.
