Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a private school in Brooklyn, NY that serves children with autism. You will join an ABA-informed, multi-disciplinary team and work with trained supervisors to support diverse learners.

The role offers two shift options and requires CCC-SLP or strong CFY candidates; robust benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with AAC, PECS, PROMPT, Oral Sensory-Motor, and/or feeding preferred.
• CCC-SLP credentials preferred; strong CFY candidates will be considered.
• Knowledge of ABA and multi-disciplinary approaches for autism is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students with autism in a private school setting.
• Collaborate with therapists and supervisors to tailor programs and monitor progress.

• Recognizing that each child presents his/her own unique strengths and challenges, as we champion a multi-disciplinary approach rather than relying on one strict modality.
• Our integrated model begins with a strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and the teaching philosophy integrates speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, music therapy, behavioral skills and social skills training under the umbrella of ABA.
• The utilization of this collaborative model facilitates the educational practices and behavioral treatments that have proven effective in educating students with disabilities.
• Our primary goal is to help each student progress to the point at which they can thrive in less restrictive educational and community settings.

• Experience with AAC, PECS, PROMPT, Oral Sensory-Motor, and/or feeding is preferred.
• CCC - SLP's are preferred but strong CFY candidates are considered
• Knowledge and experience with ABA, behavioral strategies, play therapy and the treatment of children with autism, specifically, is a plus.

• Monday through Thursday 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM and Friday 8:15 AM - 2:00 PM

• Monday through Thursday 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday 8:15 AM - 2:00 PM
