Job summary

Concourse Rehab & Nursing Center in Bronx, NY is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. This full-time on-site role offers a collaborative team and resident-centered care.

Qualified candidates have a Master’s in SLP, NYS license (CCC-SLP preferred), and experience in skilled nursing or long-term care. Sign-on bonus of $2,000 and competitive salary provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited program.
• Active NYS Speech-Language Pathology license required.
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care strongly preferred.
• FEES experience is a plus, not required.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services for residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.
• Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and medical staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and swallowing safety.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and all regulatory standards.

Position Overview

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. Speech-Language Pathologist Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• $95,000 per year (based on experience)

• $90,000 per year (new graduates welcome)
