The IDEALSchool is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring Speech Therapist to work with students, with a focus on UpperSchool students Grades6-12. Candidates must have a NY State license and a passion for and skill in working with children in a school-based role, with students with expressive, receptive, pragmatic and articulation delays and disorders, and be confident working with children with intellectual disabilities and global delays.At IDEAL, therapists are integral membersof the faculty. Therapists at IDEAL provide individual and group services to students, collaborate with teachers to ensure goals and interventions are developed and carried over into the classroom and curriculum, and provide informal, ongoing assessments of students as needed. They also partner with administrators to work with CSE teams. The successful candidate will be committed to inclusive education.
$65,000-78,000K (this represents the expected salary range for this position. Salary will be determined based on education, experience, and other job-related factors)
