Job summary

Concourse Rehab & Nursing Center in Bronx, NY invites a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders for residents in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in SLP, a NY license (CCC-SLP preferred) and has experience in skilled nursing settings. You will collaborate with nurses, therapists, and medical staff to support resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in SLP from an accredited program.
• Active New York State SLP license.
• CCC-SLP credential preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services for residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.
• Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate residents, families and staff on therapy techniques and swallowing safety.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Position Overview

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. Speech-Language Pathologist Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license
• CCC-SLP preferred
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care strongly preferred
• FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) experience a plus, not required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Compensation

• $95,000 per year (based on experience)
• $90,000 per year (new graduates welcome)
• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus
