Education/Experience:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in clinical documentation and internet navigation

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (where applicable)

Responsibilities

Speech Language Pathologist

Summary:

Provide speech-language therapy and related services, maintaining positive interactions with patients, facilities, and clients. Deliver quality patient care through screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management, adhering to all regulations and Reliant guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enhance communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities of patients
  • Develop and build a strong speech-language pathology program
  • Improve clinical, professional, and management skills through ongoing education and collaboration
  • Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed about professional issues and healthcare environment
  • Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and appropriate delivery methods; provide quality, compliant care with achievable goals
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively in English in all written and spoken interactions
