Job description

Join to apply for the Speech Language Pathologist role at UPMC.

Provides a quality Speech Language Pathology program to clients.

This role will be a casual float covering Greensburg, Monroeville, Chapel Harbor, McCandless, South Side, Mercy Pavilion, South Hills, and Moon. Additional locations may be added.

Responsibilities:

1. Achieve and maintain productivity standards.
2. Prepare necessary time records.
3. Maintain compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies (OSHA, TJC, CMS).
4. Pursue professional growth and present educational programs.
5. Perform responsibilities in line with the organization’s mission.
6. Maintain accurate progress notes and professional records.
7. Adhere to organizational policies, including HIPAA and Corporate Compliance.
8. Provide speech pathology treatments and diagnostic services.
9. Compile and report accurate data for program needs.
10. Coordinate evaluation, scheduling, and treatment programs for clients.

Qualifications:

• MS, MEd, or MA in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Knowledge and skills to provide quality customer service.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency) or related educational requirements for certification, in process of completing Clinical Fellowship year.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire, based on AHA standards.
• State license for Speech Pathologists.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR.
• Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Act 33 and 34 clearances with renewal.
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
