Job summary

Riverwood Healthcare Center is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Aitkin, MN to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services in outpatient and hospital settings. You will address speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders across all ages, following ASHA guidelines.

Minimum qualifications include a Master's or Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology and MN licensure; CF candidates are encouraged to apply. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or Clinical Doctorate from an accredited Speech and Language Pathology program.
• Speech-Language Pathology license to practice in Minnesota.
• Certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC) preferred; CF candidates encouraged.

About the Position:

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings. Services are provided in accordance with the Scope of Practice outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and MN Statues and are designed to address speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders resulting from injury, illness, or other medical conditions. This position involves providing care and assistance to patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

What we are looking for:

Education and Experience:

• Master's, or Clinical Doctorate from an accredited Speech and Language Pathology program.
• Speech-Language Pathology license to practice in the State of Minnesota.
• Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (for Speech-Language Pathologists).
• Clinical fellowship candidates encouraged to apply.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Speech-Language Pathology license to practice in the State of Minnesota.
• Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification (must be completed within 30 days of hire).
