Job summary

Parx Home Health Care is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team and provide in-home speech and language therapy. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapy, collaborating with patients, families, and caregivers to improve communication outcomes.

You will travel to patient homes across Miami-Dade and Broward counties, document progress, and ensure regulatory compliance. A Florida license and degree in Speech-Language Pathology are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Florida license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to patient homes throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' speech and communication skills.

Home Health Speech Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive and coordinated care to patients in their homes and communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health care, an understanding of state and federal regulations, and a passion for helping patients live their best lives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' speech and communication skills
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers
• Provide speech and language therapy to patients in their homes
