Job summary

Parx Home Health Care is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team and provide in-home speech and language therapy. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapy, collaborating with patients, families, and caregivers to improve communication outcomes.

You will travel to patient homes across Miami-Dade and Broward counties, document progress, and ensure regulatory compliance. A Florida license and degree in Speech-Language Pathology are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Florida license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to patient homes throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' speech and communication skills.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Provide speech and language therapy to patients in patients' homes.
• Monitor and document patient progress towards treatment goals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with policies and procedures.
