Job summary

Merrimac Heights Academy in Merrimac, MA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP/CF) for a full-time, on-site school-based position. You will deliver individual and small-group services, perform evaluations, and develop plans to support students' communication needs.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers, participate in IEPs, and monitor progress with strong documentation. CFs are encouraged to apply; Massachusetts licensure/CCC-SLP eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts SLP licensure or eligibility.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Familiarity with IEPs and Massachusetts special education processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address receptive and expressive language, social communication, articulation, fluency, and functional communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related-service providers to support communication across the school day.

• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on student needs and data.
• Maintain accurate clinical and educational documentation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary and school-wide initiatives that support student development.
