Mapleton Care in Lakewood, CO is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehabilitation program. The role involves screening and treating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, and developing care plans.

Licensed SLP with ASHA CCC or eligibility for CFY preferred. Pay ranges from $40 to $50 per hour, based on experience, with benefits including insurance, 401k, PTO and CEU opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders and develop care plans.

• Evaluate outcomes and adjust services; make referrals as needed.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries in line with regulatory requirements.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – PRN – MAPLETON CARE – LAKEWOOD, CO

Mapleton Care in Lakewood, CO, is a post‑acute care facility offering long‑term, short‑term, and geriatric services. We provide a stable, in‑house therapy team and excellent programs for our geriatric clientele. We are currently seeking a PRN Speech‑Language Pathologist for our in‑house rehabilitation program.

Pay: $40 – $50 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Speech‑Language Pathologist license is required.
• Must hold current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or be qualified for Clinical Fellowship Year.
