Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist for a Lake Villa, IL school setting. You will administer evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, provide speech and language services, monitor progress, and collaborate with teams to support student outcomes.

Must be bilingual in Spanish, hold a IL PEL with School SLP endorsement, and IL SLP license. We offer benefits, mileage reimbursement, licensure and CEU reimbursements, and a steady school-year schedule.

Qualifications

• Bilingual, fluent in Spanish required.
• Master's Degree in Speech Language Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Illinois PEL with a School SLP endorsement and valid IL IDFPR SLP license.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to assigned students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and data.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication and learning.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to service recommendations.
• Maintain confidential student records in accordance with regulations.
• Support a range of student communication needs across school settings.
• Perform additional duties to support student success.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by administering evaluations, developing and implementing therapy plans, providing speech and language services, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teams to support student outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual, fluent in Spanish (required)
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School SLP endorsement
• Valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation SLP license
• Master's Degree from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university in Speech Language Therapy
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• School-based experience preferred, not required
