  • Masters Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech/Language Pathology

  • Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Goal

To maximize student achievement through screenings, assessments, direct therapy services, and consultation for students with speech or language needs and IEPs.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations according to guidelines; document appropriately.
  2. Provide evidence-based direct therapy and prescriptive programming as per IEPs.
  3. Collaborate with special education, regular education, and related service providers.
  4. Participate in staffing and team meetings; develop and write student goals and objectives.
  5. Maintain records and data collection; utilize the computerized IEP system.
  6. Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain current licensure.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Supervision

Supervised by the SLP Department Chair and Director of Exceptional Student Services.
