Job summary

Flagship Therapy is seeking a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for part-time and PRN schedules at Legend Oaks in Kyle, TX. The role requires English-Spanish proficiency and an active SLP license.

You will join our in-house therapy team, delivering evaluative and rehabilitative services to patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Opportunities for training in dysphagia and neuro rehabilitation, flexible schedules, and a supportive team culture are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels.
• English-Spanish proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services based on patient evaluation and referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Legend Oaks in Kyle, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We are seeking Part Time and PRN Speech-Language Pathologists with English-Spanish proficiency to join our in-house therapy team. As part of this amazing team of clinicians, you will have opportunities for training and continuing education in Think Thin/dysphagia, Abilities Care and dementia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory recovery programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Speech-Language Pathologist license is required. This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels. English-Spanish proficiency required.
