The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing a broad range of clinical services to patients at Moody Neuro. These services include assessment and treatment of neurologically based communication disorders, such as speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency, and swallowing issues. The SLP coordinates referral services as needed, including audiology, and consults with other professionals regarding patients' communication, swallowing, or cognitive-linguistic abilities. The SLP is also responsible for providing timely, organized, and clear written documentation and verbal communication about services. The patients served are primarily adults with neurologically based communication disorders. The SLP upholds the organization’s mission, philosophy, and goals, while maintaining strict confidentiality of personnel and patient data.
