Education/Experience:
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient in clinical documentation and internet navigation
Certificates and Licenses:
  • Valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology (where applicable)

Responsibilities
Speech Language Pathologist
Summary:

Provide speech-language therapy and related services, maintaining positive interactions with patients and facilities, adhering to principles and practices of Speech-Language Pathology, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, developing and implementing treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management. Maintain professional conduct reflecting Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enhance communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities of patients through therapy
  • Develop and strengthen the SLP therapy program
  • Improve clinical, professional, and management skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
  • Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on industry issues
  • Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery methods to provide quality, compliant care
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
