Expressions Pediatric Therapy is looking for a skilled and compassionate speech-language pathologist to join our growing team. We’re especially interested in someone with experience or a strong interest in feeding therapy and/or orofacial myofunctional therapy who is excited to learn, collaborate, and grow in these areas.

Who We Are:

At Expressions, we provide individualized, family-centered speech and occupational therapy services to children in the Birmingham metro area. We believe in quality over quantity, thoughtful treatment over quick fixes, and genuine relationships with our clients and our team. We prioritize continued education, support specialization, and create a joyful work environment where therapists are truly valued.

Our Mission:

To provide intentional, specialized care that treats the root cause—not just the symptoms. Through open communication and a strong foundation of respect and kindness, we help families feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Our Core Values:

We’re a tight-knit, collaborative team that believes in:

  • Hard work and excellence
  • Integrity and reliability
  • Generosity and humility
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Kindness and fairness
  • Having fun and finding joy in the work we do

Who We’re Looking For:

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience or interest in feeding therapy or myofunctional therapy
  • Are passionate about treating kids holistically
  • Love learning and continuing to grow your skills
  • Enjoy being part of a collaborative team
  • Want to be in a positive, respectful workplace where your contributions matter

What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate and treat clients with speech, language, and feeding challenges
  • Collaborate closely with families and other professionals
  • Document progress and communicate clearly
  • Educate caregivers and provide home strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and billing
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and evidence-based practices
  • Participate in occasional community outreach and education

What You’ll Need:

  • CCC-SLP with 2+ years experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a team mindset
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to provide occasional offsite visits (home/preschool)
  • Feeding/myo training is a plus—but not required if you’re excited to learn!

Perks for Full-Time Employees:

  • Manageable, reasonable caseload
  • Paid liability insurance
  • Certain paid holidays
  • PTO
  • Continuing education allowance

If you're looking for a place where you can truly make an impact, grow your skills, and feel supported—this is it. We’d love to hear from you!
