Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. (Sunny Days) is a staffing agency specializing in Early Intervention and Autism services, serving children from birth to three years old. We seek a self-starting Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in home and community settings throughout southeastern PA.

Applicants must hold PA SLP licensure, have pediatric experience, and be able to work with IFSP-based goals, coaching families, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• PA Speech Therapy (SLP) license required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience (preferred).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals.
• Follow IFSP and develop methodologies to reach each child’s goals.
• Coach families on intervention strategies for home and community settings.
• Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and other community settings.
• Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA and regulations.

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. Job Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family


• Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals


• Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and at community settings


• Provide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings


• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team


• Prepare progress reports


• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements

• PA Speech Therapy (SLP) license


• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience


• Pediatric Experience


• Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)


• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills


• Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
