Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. seeks Speech Language Pathologists to provide services to infants and toddlers with developmental needs across home and community sites in southeastern Pennsylvania.

We offer competitive rates based on experience ($75 per hour to $85+ per hour) with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000. Create your own schedule and work with families in their homes and in community settings, delivering Early Intervention services.

Qualifications

• PA Speech Therapy (SLP) license is required.
• Early Intervention experience or equivalent.
• Pediatric experience essential.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals.
• Follow IFSP and develop methodologies to reach each child’s goals.
• Coach family members and caregivers on intervention strategies for home and community settings.
• Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and other community settings.
• Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Speech Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family
• Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals
• Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and at community settings
• Provide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings
• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team
• Prepare progress reports
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements:

• PA Speech Therapy (SLP) license
• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience
• Pediatric Experience
• Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
