Job summary

EDU Healthcare in Henderson, CO is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based speech and language services for students. The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to support communication and academic success.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, develop IEPs, deliver direct therapy in individual and group settings, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active SLP license in CO or eligibility to obtain before start.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.

Job description

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students in Henderson, CO. The SLP will work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students communication and academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in the state of CO (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
• Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays
• Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to make a direct impact on student success
