Job summary

Jabbergym – Point Quest Group in Hayward, CA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide school-based therapy for K-12 students. You will conduct assessments, develop plans, and deliver direct therapy, collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Clinical Fellows and licensed SLPs encouraged to apply
  • DOJ/FBI Livescan background check and TB clearance required
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Responsibilities

  • Conduct compliant formalized and dynamic assessments to determine educational eligibility and level of functioning
  • Complete observations, evaluations, annual reviews, and triennial assessments
  • Develop and maintain compliant IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members to support educational benefit
  • Consult and collaborate with team members and families to maximize generalization of communication skills
  • May oversee and support Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs), including supervision and professional development support
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy notes, assessment data, and student progress
  • Utilize research-based data collection and reporting practices
  • Coordinate time off requests during school breaks to minimize disruption to student services
