Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for pediatric outpatient care based in Grayling, Michigan. The role is a full-time, 32-hour work week with hours discussed in person, serving primarily pediatric patients with some adults.

Primary Location: Mary Free Bed at Munson Grayling
Caseload: Primarily pediatric outpatient with some adult population.
Department: Grayling Community Health Outpatient (may support Grayling Inpatient Hospital and Skill Nursing).
Employment Type: Full-time, 32‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday (hours to be discussed in person).

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the assigned department. Must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development across the life span and must be able to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age‑specific needs and provide needed care as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
Assumes full responsibility for evaluating patient’s need for speech therapy. Plans and executes individual treatment programs in accordance with ASHA and SLP scope of practice. Keeps treatment skills upgraded through continuing education, evidence‑based research, and program development. Performs job responsibilities in accordance with the program’s strategic objectives and goals to carry out organizational strategic objectives.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and standards of behavior and encourage, coach, and monitor the same in team members. Consistently promote teamwork and direct communication with coworkers while dealing discretely and sensitively with confidential information.
