Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in educational settings. Responsibilities include evaluating needs, communicating findings to families and districts, and developing targeted interventions that align with ARD goals.

You will provide therapy services and may supervise therapy assistants, while maintaining accurate progress records and collaborating with ARD teams to advocate for student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required or strongly preferred.

Your Role:

• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.

• Monitor Progress:Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.

• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
