Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders.
Responsibilities:
*Administers complex diagnostic tests and evaluations of speech, language and swallow disorders, analyzes results of diagnostic and/or therapeutic testing to establish patient goals and/or modify subsequent treatment programs, provides clinical speech-language pathology services--assessment and planning
*Develops or contributes to innovative programs to enhance patient care, provides counseling and/or feedback to patients and/or family members regarding patient's care through team meetings and/or direct contact.
*Maintains valid and reliable records of patient procedures, progress and/or recommendations, and documents timely per department policy.
*Selects and applies current and advanced techniques to provide quality and efficient speech/language/swallow rehabilitation services; serves as resource consultant to other clinicians in respective specialty area.
*Attends required meetings and participates positively; is accountable for information presented. Performs duties as needed that are not generally associated with normal job functions.

Qualifications
Required
*Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology with
*Certified Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) as issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
*Licensed (or licensure eligible) as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina
*One (1) years of clinical experience working in Speech Language Pathology
*Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
