Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy, a certified Great Place to Work, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide PRN support covering a maternity leave. You will screen and evaluate swallowing and communication disorders, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited speech-language pathology program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Current valid Speech Language Pathologist license to practice in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provide screenings and evaluations to determine the need for skilled speech therapy interventions for swallowing disorders, dysphagia, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans focusing on functional, measurable outcomes, based on physician orders and professional standards.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with and coordinate training programs for community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
