Job description

Pediatric Therapies, Inc. is seeking School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs) and SLPAs to serve school districts in close proximity to Farmville, Dinwiddie, and Chesterfield, VA.

  • We are seeking therapists for school-based positions for the upcoming school year!
  • Work alongside mentor speech therapist team members in the county! If you are a clinical fellow, you will have the support of experienced, in-person therapists who will work alongside you.
  • We are a local to Chesterfield, VA company (serving 12 school districts in VA for more than 35 years) offering a high pay rate, drive reimbursement and an awesome benefit package! Checkout our Facebook page and our website: pedtherapies.com

We support many new graduates during their fellowship year! The SLP or CF will serve a manageable caseload. Within the county, the speech-language pathologist will be fully supported working alongside other full-time speech therapists (on our team) who come with years of school-based experience. In addition, they will work together with the OT and PT team within the county. You will love working alongside our close-knit, experienced team!

Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Must possess a Master’s Degree in speech-language pathology and/or current VA license in school speech-language pathology issued by the Virginia Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech-language pathology (or plan to graduate from an accredited program in May).

Pediatric Therapies, Inc., is a local, therapist owned, contract company. The small business size allows us to maintain close-knit, long-term friendships with the therapists on our team. In addition, through clear and open communication with administrators in the counties we serve, longstanding contracts are maintained for 35 years or more. We provide therapy services to students within the public school system setting in the Southside and Central Region of VA. Currently, we provide therapy service to 12 school districts surrounding Richmond, VA.

We are looking for caring, energetic, positive, friendly, enthusiastic applicants who love working with kids and are passionate about the field of speech therapy. Join our experienced team of school-based professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality educationally relevant therapy services to support student independence and success within the school environment!
