Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. (Sunny Days) is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our pediatric team. You will provide direct Speech Therapy services, collaborate with families, and work within IFSP plans across home and community settings in southeastern PA.

We value flexible scheduling, client-centered approaches, and effective caregiver coaching to promote child development and family involvement. Prior EI experience and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• PA Speech Therapy license (SLP) is required.
• Experience in Early Intervention or equivalent.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience is a plus.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals.
• Follow IFSP and develop methodologies to reach each child’s goals.
• Coach family members and caregivers on intervention strategies for home and community settings.
• Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and other community settings.
• Ensure progress generalization and caregiver participation through coaching and team communication.
• Prepare progress reports; maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family
• Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals
• Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and at community settings
• Provide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings
• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team
• Prepare progress reports
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements

• PA Speech Therapy (SLP) license
• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience
• Pediatric Experience
• Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
