Job summary

RehabVisions in Dalhart, Texas is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive assessments and treatments. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of 50% Pediatrics and 50% Geriatrics. They will also be responsible for program development and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Department: Dalhart Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine - 1049

• Clinical Fellowship (CF) supervision available
• 50% Pediatrics / 50% Geriatrics caseload
• Early Intervention services for approximately 10 children under age 3
• Adult caseload includes swallowing, cognition, and speech therapy
• Practice across inpatient hospital and outpatient settings
• Join the team at Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart, TX

Speech-Language Pathologist Job Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients
• Plan, market and develop new programs
• Communicate with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff
• Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
• Assist in the general operation of the department
• Master's degree (M. A. or M. S.) in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or be eligible for such.
