Job summary

Total Education Solutions is seeking a full-time Speech Language Provider (SLP) to join our dedicated school-based team in Columbus, Ohio. This role focuses on providing tailored speech services to students, adhering to their IEPs and client plans while working collaboratively with teachers and parents.

Qualifications

• Licensed according to state mandates as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Access to a mobile phone and basic internet for offsite work.
• Experience working with children and individuals with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech services according to each client's IEP or Plan of Care.
• Administer necessary evaluations and keep accurate records.
• Communicate progress to parents, teachers, and other professionals.

Speech Language Provider / SLP

$37.44 - $43.38/hr*

*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, type of credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

Expectations:

• Provide speech services that adhere to the goals and objectives found in each client's IEP or Plan of Care
• Administer all necessary evaluations and assessments with written reports and Plan of Care
• Keep accurate records and provide updates on progress and recommendations regarding IEPs
• Communicate ongoing student/client progress to parents/guardians, general education teachers, school administration, district personnel, and other service professionals
• Maintain ongoing compliance in accordance with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)
• Maintain a Code of Ethics in accordance with ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
• Train in telehealth practices and platform

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed according to state mandates as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
• Access to a mobile phone (for email) & basic internet (if working offsite)
• Hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage)
• Must clear a current background check through the BCI/FBI
• A current TB Test (within the last 12 months)

• Varied work environments, including classrooms, clinics, and homes
• Moderate to loud noise levels and physical demands may vary
• Working with individuals exhibiting diverse behaviors and needs
