Job summary

TruCare Living Centers in Columbus, TX is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in‑house therapy team and expand Abilities Care programs. You will assess, treat and support patients with speech, cognitive and swallowing disorders, and contribute to program development.

The role offers the chance to implement innovative therapy options and collaborate with families and care teams while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• SLP license required.
• Open to all experience levels.
• Ability to develop and implement therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and plan care.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment for communication, cognitive and swallowing issues.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust services; refer as needed.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and other providers on speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in line with regulations.

TRUCARE LIVING CENTERS – COLUMBUS, TX

Our Texas market is excited to announce our growth in the Columbus area! We are currently seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our crew of in‑house therapists at TruCare Living Centers and help us expand therapy programming to include Abilities Care (cognition), ACP programs, Big and Loud and wound care. As a therapy professional, you will have the freedom to create and implement additional programs to best meet the needs of the patients in this facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications:

Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.

This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels.
