Birch Agency seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for in-person FMLA leave coverage in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Immediate start with an assignment through January 8, 2027, in a collaborative school setting.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and an IL SLP license. CCC-SLP and/or PEL are preferred. You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and work with teachers and families to support students' communication needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Illinois SLP license required.
• PEL preferred or eligible.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills necessary.

Responsabilités

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Support students with speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and communication needs.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district special education requirements.
