We are currently seeking a Part Time Speech Pathologist for the Carmel/West Lafayette, IN area!
About the Role
The Speech Pathologist provides speech services for children attending LittleStar, demonstrating an understanding of ABA and collaborating with the clinical team. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech or language disorders, formulating individualized treatment plans, maintaining records, and updating the clinical team and parents on progress.
Work Location
This position requires travel to West Lafayette, IN, in addition to working in Carmel, IN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform speech and language assessments and evaluations to determine therapy needs.
- Develop and implement speech therapy programs and goals.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate therapy changes with team members and document appropriately.
- Participate in team meetings, professional conferences, and maintain licensure.
- Collect data, analyze progress, and ensure therapy effectiveness.
- Implement behavior management techniques and act as a positive role model.
- Ensure safety and confidentiality, adhering to policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with families and teams to design and deliver services.
- Supervise interns or practicum students as required.
- Participate in research and presentation opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology.
- State license as a speech pathologist.
- Interest in behavioral strategies and collaboration.
- Energetic, positive professional with organizational skills.
- Experience with children, especially those with autism.
- Ability to train staff on speech principles.
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Other Conditions
- Successful background checks, including driving history.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- Work in clinical environments, including offsite locations.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Part-time schedule with potential to become full-time.
- Travel to satellite sites, homes, and training events as needed.
