Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based role in Carlsbad, NM. The SLP will provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student communication and education.

The role requires a current SLP license (or eligibility), TB clearance, and strong organizational and communication skills. CEU/license reimbursement and full benefits are offered, with clinical fellows welcome.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain).
• TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

What We're Looking For:

• One year of experience in speech therapy (clinical fellows welcome)
• Department of Education certification
