Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time or part-time on-site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Cape Coral, FL. This role serves PreK-12 students and requires Florida licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Open to licensed SLPs and CFYs, the SLP will provide therapy, conduct evaluations, develop IEP plans, evaluate progress, and collaborate with school teams. Competitive pay: $60-$70+ per hour with relocation incentive and comprehensive support.

Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active state license as Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA certification and DoE licensure preferred.
  • CF-SLP placements may be available; experience in schools a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy services to PreK-12 students.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations.
  • Develop and monitor IEP plans.

As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Our mission is to deliver high-quality Speech Language Pathology (SLP) services while making meaningful connections in a collaborative learning environment. This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Cape Coral, FL. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Job Details
  • Full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week)
  • 2026-2027 academic year (August through May/June)
  • Open to licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
  • School assignments available across PreK-12 settings
  • Florida SLP license required or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Relocation assistance and sign-on incentive available

  • Paid time includes treatment sessions, paperwork, planning, and other administrative responsibilities

  • Competitive compensation: $60-$70+ per hour (approximately $2,400-$2,625 per week)
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
  • National License: ASHA
  • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • CF-SLP placement may be available
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
