Qualifications

• Active California SLP license in good standing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective treatment plans and obtain physician approval.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan and document progress.
• Communicate patient status with supervisor and health-team members.
• Record evaluations, daily and weekly notes, and discharge documentation as required by law.
• Instruct families and staff on maintenance and discharge preparation.
