The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing, directing, and supervising all aspects of quality patient care, including screening, evaluation, treatment, planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The SLP ensures that patient care complies with organizational guidelines, professional standards, and legal requirements.

The SLP advocates for patients and collaborates across disciplines to ensure consistent care. Participation in quality assurance and customer service activities is also expected.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology
• Licensure or Certification as required by State guidelines
• CPR Certification
• Preferred: 1 year Speech/Language Pathology experience
• Preferred: 1-2 years’ experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility
• Students in their CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) will be considered
